However, the rise in biometric data usage has also led to a surge in privacy concerns and security breaches. This paper examines the legal consequences and remedies available to victims of biometric data breaches, focusing on the intersection of privacy law, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity.Biometric information breaches can have serious consequences for people, as this sort of information is special and cannot be changed like passwords or credit card numbers. Once compromised, biometric data can be utilized for character burglary, extortion, and other pernicious exercises.
